Silly Pictures

This one is of Kirsten. It's like she knew she was tired. So tired she didn't even make it all the way onto the couch. Funny girl. After taking this picture, I put her feet on the couch, and laid her favorite blanket on her. Poor tired girl. I guess she wore herself out playing all day. It's tough being a kid.

I thought this was funny too. This is of our dog Hachi. We thought he was quite silly, lazy, and cute to eat his food laying down. It's like he's thinking, "I'm no idiot, Standing is just a waste of energy when I'm hungry." We've never seen a dog eat this way so We had to take a picture of him. Silly puppy huh?

Meet Hachi

Meet the newest member of our family. Last Saturday Ken took the kids to the Human Society pet adoption day. They saw lots of dogs needing good homes. The kids immediately liked this dog the best out of all the dogs they saw. At the persistents of the kids, and after talking to the current owner of Hachi they decided to adopt him. Hachi is a black Lab collie mix. I think he looks more like a black lab though. He is 4 1/2 months old. He came with the name Koa but none of us liked that name very well and he didn't answer to it any way. So we changed it to Hachi. We got the name from a movie we recently watched. We all think the name Hachi fits him better any way. So far he is a nice well behaved dog. We had to teach him how to go down stairs during the first day or so. I don't think he lived with stairs before. He started out being really shy but now he is acting like a normal dog. He likes to play with Riddick the dog we are watching for Shanna while she is on her mission. I think having Riddick around has also helped Hachi adjust to living here. After only being here a few days, we have all decided he will be a permanent resident here at the Tennant house hold.
